Ogun State Governor and Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum, Dapo Abiodun, on Wednesday visited his Katsina State counterpart, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who is recuperating from injuries sustained in a recent car crash along the Daura–Katsina highway.
Abiodun’s visit was a show of solidarity on behalf of governors from Nigeria’s southern region, offering prayers and well wishes for Radda’s quick recovery.
In a message shared via his official X handle, Abiodun said, “We paid a visit to our dear brother, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State, who was recently involved in a car accident along the Daura–Katsina highway.”
“On behalf of the Southern Governors’ Forum, we conveyed our heartfelt greetings and best wishes for his speedy and complete recovery. We thank the Almighty for preserving his life and pray for his continued strength and good health as he continues to serve the good people of Katsina State,” he added.
The visit underscores the spirit of unity and camaraderie among Nigeria’s regional leaders, especially in times of personal adversity.
