The ABIONA Platform has extended its heartfelt condolences to Dr. Samuel Oluwafemi Abiona, Director of Community Health Services and Education at the Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (OSPHCDA) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the ABIONA Platform, following the passing of his mother, Madam Abiona.
In a statement signed by a senior official of the platform and made available to newsmen, the group expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the late matriarch’s impactful life, recognizing her dedicated service to the community and the church.
Madam Abiona passed away in the early hours of Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 86.
Her remains have been deposited at the mortuary, pending burial arrangements, which the family is expected to announce in due course.
Known for her unwavering Christian faith, Madam Abiona is survived by her children, grandchildren, and extended family members.
