The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has successfully facilitated the return of Adeola, the 41-year-old daughter of veteran Yoruba actress, Jumoke George, who was recently found in Mali after being declared missing for four years.
Adeola was reportedly last seen in Ibadan, Oyo State, where she had been living with her grandmother. She had informed the family she was travelling to Lagos before she went missing.
Her disappearance came to public knowledge after her mother, Jumoke George, opened up during an emotional interview on the “Talk to B” show hosted by Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo.
NiDCOM’s intervention marks a major relief for the George family and brings an end to years of uncertainty surrounding Adeola’s whereabouts.
