
— Commends Monarch’s Peaceful Reign and Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Council Chairman’s Humility
It was a moment of joy, culture, and celebration in Odigbo Kingdom as His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade, the Orunja of Odigbo, marked his 60th birthday in grand style. The well-attended ceremony drew dignitaries — Royal fathers, religious leaders, captains of industry, and politicians across political parties from far and near, all gathered to honour the revered monarch whose reign is described as peaceful and progressive.
Mr. Adeyemi Olanrewaju, the Director of Finance and Supplies, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area, an illustrious son of the kingdom, double as a member of the Orunja 60th Birthday Planning Committee.
In his goodwill message made available to the newsmen, Olanrewaju described Oba (Dr.) Akinrinmade as a visionary and fatherly leader whose wisdom and commitment have continued to foster unity and development in Odigbo Kingdom.

He said, “Kabiyesi is a man of wisdom, humility, and strength. His leadership style is inspiring, and his love for his people is unquestionable. I join countless admirers to celebrate a king whose reign has brought stability and growth.”
Olanrewaju further acknowledged the presence of the Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government, Hon. Adeboye Adebare, at the event, describing his attendance as a symbol of true friendship and respect for traditional authority.

According to him, “The council chairman’s presence at the Orunja’s 60th birthday was at my request, and honouring the invitation signifies unmatched humility and leadership maturity. Hon. Adeboye Adebare is indeed a worthy boss whose human relations investment and sense of respect for culture are exemplary.”
The director further expressed appreciation for the harmonious working relationship he enjoys with the council boss, noting that mutual respect and understanding have remained the bedrock of their professional partnership.
He concluded by praying for God’s continued blessings on the Orunja of Odigbo, asking that the monarch be granted long life, sound health, and divine wisdom to continue steering the affairs of his kingdom.

The event, which was well attended by indigenes of Odigbo both at home and abroad, showcased rich cultural displays, music, and tributes to celebrate the monarch’s six decades of impactful life and leadership.
