Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and improving the socio-economic welfare of residents.
The governor made this known at the weekend during the commissioning of a Kidney Care Centre in Owo Local Government Area of the state.
Represented by the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Victor Ategbole, Aiyedatiwa said the centre—equipped with modern dialysis machines and other specialised facilities—was established to address the growing incidence of kidney-related ailments within and outside the state.
According to him, the project would ease the financial and emotional strain on patients who previously had to travel long distances for treatment while also ensuring wider access to quality and affordable healthcare.
He assured that his government would sustain investments in critical health infrastructure to safeguard the well-being of citizens.
