Former First Lady of Ondo State, H.E. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has defected to the Labour Party in Imo State.
Akeredolu made the disclosure via her verified Facebook page, where she confirmed attending the party’s National Executive Council and stakeholders’ meeting held in Abuja on March 17.
She stated that the meeting recorded a large turnout, with the venue filled beyond capacity due to the number of attendees.
Her move to the Labour Party is believed to be connected to her political ambition to contest a senatorial seat in Imo State.
