A Senior Legislative Aide to the President of the Senate and former lawmaker in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Simeon Toluwani Borokini, has been invested as a Knight of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), becoming one of the youngest recipients of the honour.
Borokini was conferred with the Grand Commander of the Order of Saint Christopher during a colourful investiture service held on Sunday, December 14, at the Cathedral of St. Paul, Omu-Aran, in the Omu-Aran Diocese.
The ceremony was presided over by the Bishop of Omu-Aran Diocese, Rt. Revd. Festus Sobanke, who formally admitted Borokini into the Council of Knights of St. Christopher.

A son of the Archbishop of Ondo Ecclesiastical Province, The Most Rev. Simeon Oluwole Borokini, the new knight consequently emerged as the youngest member of the Diocesan Council of Knights and one of the youngest in the Anglican Church nationwide.
After taking the oath of allegiance to the diocese, Borokini was presented with the scroll and the Sword of the Spirit, signifying loyalty, service, and discipline in the Christian faith.
Borokini and his wife, Lady Ayobami Borokini, were among five inductees at the event, increasing the number of knights in the diocese to fifteen.
Speaking shortly after the ceremony, Borokini described the honour as a call to deeper service to God and humanity, adding that it would further strengthen his commitment to faith and godly living.
In a sermon, the Bishop of Ife Diocese, Rt. Revd. Olubunmi Akinlade, charged the newly inducted knights to uphold integrity and humility, noting that knighthood is reserved for individuals of tested character and proven service.
