DABIRI-EREWA HOSTS NIGERIANS IN UK

LONDON — On the sidelines of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s historic state visit to the United Kingdom, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, received notable Nigerians in the diaspora, including England-based rugby star Maro Itoje.

Dabiri-Erewa engaged members of the diaspora community during the visit and reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening ties with Nigerians abroad as part of efforts to drive national development.

Itoje, a key player for English club Saracens and the England national team, was among the distinguished personalities at the engagement, reflecting Nigeria’s growing global influence through citizens excelling in various fields.

The meeting formed part of ongoing diaspora engagement initiatives aimed at leveraging the expertise and contributions of Nigerians abroad to support the country’s development agenda.
