Sources familiar with the development disclosed that El-Rufai was picked up overnight from the EFCC facility. It was gathered that he declined to make any written statement during interrogation.
The sources further indicated that the DSS has filed a three-count charge bordering on alleged cybercrime against the former governor.
He is expected to be arraigned in court on Thursday, pending the completion of necessary procedures.
