As Muslims across the world mark the end of the sacred month of Ramadan with celebration and gratitude, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese, the CEO of Sckye Hospitals Limited, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful, commending their dedication to fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
In a statement issued via his verified Facebook account on Friday on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, Dr. Ikubese described Ramadan as a period that reinforces the virtues of thanksgiving to Allah, discipline, charity, compassion, unity, and renewed faith, all of which, he noted, were demonstrated throughout the fasting period.
He urged Muslim Ummah to sustain these values beyond Ramadan, stressing that such principles are essential for the progress of society and the strengthening of national unity. He further called on Nigerians to consistently place the interest of the nation above personal or sectional considerations.
Dr. Ikubese charged Muslims occupying political offices to deploy their positions toward improving the welfare of the people rather than using them as avenues for personal enrichment.
He prayed that the season ushers in divine blessings into every home, while wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
