ABUJA – The Forum of Female Chief Executives of Government Agencies and Organizations on Friday visited the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the State House, Abuja.
The delegation, led by Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), comprised 24 female heads of government institutions. They pledged their support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative.

In her remarks, Mrs. Tinubu urged the women to serve as mentors for younger generations and to provide opportunities, scholarships, and support for women across the country.
She recalled the legacies of Nigerian heroines such as Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Margaret Ekpo, Gambo Sawaba, and Abibat Mogaji, stressing the importance of collective action to ease the challenges faced by women.
The First Lady also renewed her appeal for partnership in completing the National Library project, which she said would be of immense benefit to indigent students.
“Their solidarity and commitment inspire me, and I believe that together we can build a Nigeria where women truly thrive,” she said.
