The National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress has appointed the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, Prof. Yilwatda Nentawe, as the substantive National Chairman of the party.
His emergence followed a closed-door meeting earlier, where party stakeholders endorsed his leadership to steer the ruling party ahead of upcoming national engagements.
Nentawe succeeds Abdullahi Ganduje, whose tenure ended amid internal party realignments.
