
Senator Jide Ipinsagba has received a major boost for his second-term bid as chiefs under the Owa Ale of Ikare formally endorsed him, pledging their unwavering support for his return to the Senate.
The historic endorsement took place at the Senator’s country residence in Ikare, with traditional rulers including High Chief Oliku of Iku-land, High Chief Adebisi Abraham, the Alaja of Okegbe, High Chief Olono of Okegbe, and other respected leaders in attendance.
High Chief Oliku praised Senator Ipinsagba’s commitment to legislative excellence, youth empowerment, and constituency development, noting that he has delivered tangible results despite the nation’s economic challenges.
Highlighting their support, High Chief Adebisi Abraham donated land for Akoko’s first-ever recreational center, a youth-focused project spearheaded by the Senator. The move signals strong traditional backing and recognition of his vision for community development.
The chiefs also commended the Senator’s efforts in agricultural revitalization, infrastructure upgrades, and sustainable development initiatives tailored to Ondo North. They urged constituents to return him to the Senate to continue the progress.
Senator Ipinsagba thanked the chiefs, describing the endorsement as “a sacred covenant” that will inspire him to deliver even greater dividends of democracy in a second term.

The event underscores a growing consensus among traditional leaders in Ondo North for Senator Ipinsagba’s re-election, positioning him as the people’s choice for sustained development.
