The Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III), has showered praise on Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for what he described as an “inspiring and visionary” first 100 days in office.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Isinkan Council of Chiefs and the people of the ancient kingdom, the monarch lauded the governor’s leadership style, commending him for piloting the affairs of the state with calm, clarity, and commitment amid political uncertainty.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown uncommon maturity and a deep sense of purpose. His administration’s early days have been marked by impactful decisions and visionary leadership,” the monarch said.
The Iralepo singled out what he called a “bold and historic” move by the Aiyedatiwa-led government — the monthly disbursement of five percent of local government allocations to traditional rulers — a gesture he said has redefined the relevance of traditional institutions across the state.
“This singular policy has breathed new life into our role as traditional fathers. We are now better positioned to maintain peace, uphold cultural values, and support local governance,” Oba Olofin-Adimula noted.
The monarch also highlighted key achievements recorded within the governor’s first 100 days, including infrastructural upgrades and the mass recruitment of workers into the state civil service, describing them as “signposts of a people-centered administration.”
Speaking further, the Iralepo praised Aiyedatiwa’s inclusive approach to governance, especially his respectful handling of traditional institutions in Isinkan and the larger Akure South axis.
“You have governed with humility and wisdom. The people of Isinkan deeply appreciate your recognition of our traditional structure and your efforts to promote harmony and dignity within our community,” he said.
Oba Olofin-Adimula, while reaffirming Isinkan’s support for the Aiyedatiwa administration, pledged the kingdom’s partnership towards building a more prosperous and peaceful Ondo State.
The royal father concluded with a prayer for continued strength and success for the governor, expressing confidence that the accomplishments of the first 100 days are only a foretaste of greater things to come.
