In a move to strengthen primary healthcare service delivery in Ondo State, the Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency has redeployed Primary Health Care (PHC LGA) Directors/Medical Officers across the South Senatorial District.
The directive, contained in an internal circular dated 8th April 2026 and addressed to all PHC directors and coordinators, ordered the immediate assumption of new duties, resulting in a statewide adjustment of leadership across multiple LGAs in the South Senatorial District of the state.

According to the circular, Dr. Olawanle Jibayo has been moved from Irele LGA to Ilaje LGA, where he is to serve as PHC Coordinator.
In a similar adjustment, Dr. Adeniyi Olusola Marius was redeployed from Okitipupa Local Government Area to Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area.
Dr. Gbadamosi Olanrewaju was transferred from Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo to Odigbo Local Government Area, while Dr. Faruwa Bosede Mojisola was moved from Odigbo to Okitipupa Local Government Area.
The circular also confirmed the redeployment of Dr. Kpemi Warifinwei within Irele Local Government Area, where he is to continue as PHC Coordinator.
In another adjustment, Dr. Ayelaje Oluwalominu Naphius was moved from Ilaje Local Government Area to Ondo West Local Government Area in the Central Senatorial District and directed to report to the PHC Director in the LGA, effectively relinquishing his previous responsibilities as LGA PHC Director.
All affected officers were instructed to hand over government property in their custody before resuming at their new duty posts.

The circular, signed on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Claudius F. K., has drawn attention among health workers and stakeholders, with discussions focused on its implications for primary healthcare coordination and service delivery in Ondo State.
