NIDCOM MOURNS WOMAN, TWO CHILDREN KILLED IN U.S. CRASH

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has expressed condolences to a Nigerian family following the tragic death of a woman and her two children in a road accident in Texas, United States.

Chairman of the commission, Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, conveyed the sympathy in a statement released on Friday by the agency’s media unit.

The victims identified as Nihinlolawa Agboro and her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac reportedly died after a collision involving a truck and a sport utility vehicle in Fort Bend County.

According to local media, the incident occurred on Sunday morning along a highway corridor between Harlem Road and Pitts Road. Authorities said the truck veered off its lane, crossed the median, and crashed into the oncoming SUV conveying five occupants.

Dabiri-Erewa described the incident as devastating, noting that the victims were on what should have been a routine journey. She extended her condolences to the bereaved family, prayed for the repose of the deceased, and wished those injured a swift recovery.

She also urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads, while reaffirming the commission’s support for Nigerians in Texas and across the United States affected by the tragedy.
