The Judith Ojonugwa Sickle Cell Foundation is the latest to applaud the initiative, describing it as a timely and impactful gesture.
In a letter addressed to the Managing Director of NSITF, Barrister Olúwaṣeun Faleye, the Foundation conveyed its “deep appreciation” for the donation it received, which it said had significantly bolstered its operations.
According to the Foundation, the support has been instrumental in “raising public awareness on Sickle Cell disease; provision of essential medical items, and free genotype tests.”
It added that the intervention is helping to improve its capacity to deliver vital services and is bringing “renewed hope to individuals living with Sickle Cell disease.”
