The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N100 million to support an arts education initiative targeted at underserved communities across Nigeria.
She made the announcement during a Charity Gala Dinner hosted by the Spouses of Heads of Mission in Nigeria, in support of the Five Cowries Arts Education Initiative.
While commending the organisers for their commitment to social impact, Mrs Tinubu said such efforts were crucial to national development.
“It takes such innovations to make lasting impacts in critical sectors of the society,” she said.
The Five Cowries initiative uses creative arts to boost educational access and improve learning outcomes, especially in rural and hard-to-reach areas.
