Ondo State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, OON, has been honored with the Thomas Sankara Pan-African Leadership Prize for his exceptional contribution to nation building and justice.
The award, presented by the Youth Partnership for Africa’s Development (YOUPAD), recognizes African leaders who demonstrate integrity, selfless leadership, and dedication to community development. YOUPAD highlighted Dr. Ajulo’s strong stance against corruption and nepotism.
In a statement, Dr. Ajulo dedicated the award to African parents, especially mothers, praising their role in shaping responsible leaders. He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for enhancing Nigeria’s global image and thanked Ondo Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his support.
Dr. Ajulo joins notable past recipients such as former Sudanese President Umar Al-Bashir and Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher G. Musa.
