ONDO SRH COORDINATOR CELEBRATES 40TH WITH ADOLESCENTS

In a heartwarming celebration of her 40th birthday, the Ondo State Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Coordinator, Opeyemi E. Agunbiade, took time to inspire young girls at Adu Memorial Grammar School, Akure, with a special health talk.

Sharing the experience on her verified official Facebook account, Agunbiade said the event focused on promoting self-esteem, healthy habits, and positive life choices among adolescent girls. “In celebration of my 40th birthday, I visited Adu Memorial Grammar School to deliver a health talk to young girls — promoting self-esteem, healthy habits, and positive choices for their future,” she wrote.

The surprise celebration was organized by the SRH Unit of the Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency in collaboration with her husband, Elder Samuel Agunbiade, blending personal milestone with her passion for empowering adolescent girls.

The interactive session gave the students an opportunity to engage, ask questions, and learn about making healthy decisions, building resilience, and boosting self-confidence—tools Agunbiade said they can use daily to shape a brighter future.

Expressing her gratitude, the SRH Coordinator thanked her team, husband, family, friends, and associates for making the celebration meaningful, noting the event left a lasting impact on both her and the young participants.
