In a demonstration of royal support, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Adegboyega Akinrinmade, the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Bola Taiwo, Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties to the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The monarch said the visit was to express his heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Bola Taiwo on his well-deserved appointment and to commend his commitment to public service, describing him as a prominent and illustrious son of Odigbo Local Government.
“I have come not only to congratulate you but also to express how proud the people of Odigbo are of you. Your appointment reflects your loyalty, hard work, and consistent advocacy for the masses,” the monarch stated.
Oba Akinrinmade applauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for identifying and appointing capable individuals into key positions in his administration.
“The people of Odigbo Kingdom are grateful to His Excellency for considering one of our own for this strategic role. We assure him of our continued support, prayers, and cooperation in building a better Ondo State,” he added.
“We are proud of you, and we are confident in your ability to represent the interest of our people with wisdom and integrity,” the traditional ruler said.
The royal father also called on the Special Adviser to ensure that the needs and concerns of the Odigbo LGA remain a top priority in government discussions.
While responding, Comrade Bola Taiwo appreciated the monarch for the royal visit and expressed gratitude to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for the confidence reposed in him.
He assured the Orunja of his unwavering commitment to serving the state diligently and pledged to continue being a worthy representative of Odigbo LGA.
The visit concluded with prayers and exchange of goodwill messages, further cementing the bond between traditional leadership and government functionaries in Ondo State.
