Oyebanji Approves Career Elongation for Public School Bursars in Ekiti

The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the extension of the terminal salary grade level for Bursars in public secondary schools across the state.

In a move aimed at enhancing motivation and career progression, the terminal grade level for the Bursars’ cadre has now been raised from Grade Level 14 to Grade Level 15. The new directive takes effect from May 1, 2025.

The announcement was made public via the official state government information portal, eksginfo.ng, emphasizing the governor’s commitment to the welfare and professional advancement of education sector workers.

The approval is expected to boost morale among Bursars and further strengthen the administration’s broader reform agenda in the education sector.
