The Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination and Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU), Hadiza Bala Usman, was on Tuesday honoured with the Iconic Female Technocrat of the Year award at the 2025 edition of the Blueprint Lecture, Impact Series and Awards held in Abuja.
The event, which drew a cross-section of policymakers, technocrats and stakeholders in governance, featured a keynote lecture by a former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega, with the theme, “Exploring the Potential of Livestock Exports.”

Bala Usman was recognised for her role in deepening results-based governance and enhancing inter-ministerial coordination in line with the federal government’s performance management agenda. She currently leads the CRDCU, a unit responsible for tracking and ensuring delivery of top presidential priorities across ministries, departments and agencies.
Speaking at the ceremony, organisers described her as a driving force behind improved service delivery and government accountability, adding that the award reflects her impact in strengthening institutional frameworks within the public sector.

The Blueprint Impact Series and Awards is an annual platform dedicated to recognising excellence, innovation, and integrity in public service and national development.
