Tinubu Hails Wike’s Impact on FCT Development

President Bola Tinubu has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for the sweeping transformation currently reshaping the capital under his leadership.

Speaking through the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, at an official function, the President acknowledged Wike’s developmental strides, describing them as visible across both the elite districts and the expanding satellite towns.

According to the President, areas like Maitama, Jahi, Katampe, Wuye, Mabushi, and others now reflect a new era of infrastructure and planning. He also noted that once-overlooked towns such as Gwagwalada, Kwali, Bwari, Abaji, and growing communities like Kabusa, Ketti, and the newly established Giri district are now witnessing a wave of progress.

Tinubu said Wike had not only keyed into the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” but had effectively translated it into tangible outcomes that directly impact the lives of residents.

He described the Minister’s efforts as “quality-driven and excellence-focused,” particularly in communities previously relegated to the background.

“On behalf of my administration and the people of the FCT, I commend your commitment and service,” the President said.
