Tinubu Makes Fresh Appointments to Governing Councils of 36 Federal Institutions

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of new members to the governing councils of several Federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education across the country.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, who disclosed that the appointments take immediate effect.

According to the statement, the newly appointed council members are to serve in various capacities across 36 federal tertiary institutions.

A breakdown of the appointments is as follows:

African Aviation and Aerospace University, Abuja – Hon. Chidi Nwogu (Imo State)

University of Jos, Plateau State – Dr. Folashade Mulikat Kareem (Kwara State)
