Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will on Thursday engage youths from across the state in a special interactive session aimed at promoting inclusivity, youth empowerment, and participatory governance during the Yuletide celebrations.
The programme, scheduled for December 26 in Igbokoda, is being organized by the Governor’s Office in partnership with the Senior Special Assistant on Youth Empowerment and Job Creation, Gbayisemore Orioye Benedict. It is intended to give young people a platform to interact directly with the governor and contribute their ideas toward the state’s development agenda.
Orioye Benedict described the event as an opportunity for youths to freely discuss their aspirations, challenges, and innovative proposals with state leadership. “This session is a deliberate effort to empower our youths by giving them direct access to the Governor and actively involve them in shaping Ondo State’s progress,” he said.
The dialogue is expected to attract participants from all corners of the state and provide a forum for collaboration, innovation, and policy-focused discussions between young citizens and government officials.
Political observers say the initiative underscores the Aiyedatiwa administration’s focus on leveraging the energy and creativity of youths as key drivers of development.

Beyond festive celebrations, the engagement is seen as a strategic move to foster unity and youth-led growth, with organizers inviting eligible youths to take part in what they describe as a landmark step toward a more inclusive and prosperous Ondo State.
