In a swift move to rejig his administration, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has ordered the immediate removal of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister C.O.C. Akaolisa.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba, on Monday, said the directive takes immediate effect.
The sacked commissioner has been instructed to hand over all government property in his custody to the State Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice without delay.
The government described the action as part of a “minor cabinet reshuffle” aimed at repositioning the administration for improved service delivery.
