President Bola Tinubu on Monday received yet another vote of confidence from an unlikely quarter, as former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, endorsed the President’s leadership style and expressed optimism in his administration’s economic reforms.
Fayose, a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made the remarks during a private visit to the President at his Lagos residence.
Speaking with State House correspondents after the meeting, the outspoken ex-governor said his trust in Tinubu’s ability to lead the country transcends party affiliations.
“My confidence in the leadership qualities of President Tinubu goes beyond political reasons,” Fayose said.
The former governor’s comments add to a growing list of bipartisan endorsements for the President, as his administration continues to push economic recovery strategies and national development reforms.
