Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has revealed the identities of the politicians he is currently fighting against in Rivers State.
Contrary to public perception, Wike clarified that he is not at war with the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, whom he referred to as his estranged political son.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin released on Saturday afternoon, Wike named Celestine Omehia, Abiye Sekibo, and Austin Okpara as the individuals he is in direct conflict with.
“I am fighting those who want to reap where they did not sow.
People like Celestine Omehia, Abiye Sekibo and Austin Okpara.
I have defeated them before and I will give them the final defeat,” Wike said.
The minister further alleged that these three politicians are the ones influencing Fubara and pushing him to confront Wike.
This development comes amidst reports that Fubara—who was suspended by President Bola Tinubu following the declaration of a State of Emergency in Rivers State—has apologized to Wike.
