Rescued from Mali: Adeola Gets Support from JAAL Foundation, NIDCOM Applauded

The JAAL Foundation, a non-profit organization led by Dr. Tolu Aderemi, has donated a deep freezer and a cash gift to Ms. Adeola George, a Nigerian woman recently rescued from Mali after a harrowing experience of human trafficking.

The presentation took place at the foundation’s Lagos office, where Dr. Aderemi reiterated the group’s commitment to advocating for good governance and providing support to vulnerable citizens. He cited Adeola’s case as a shining example of prompt governmental intervention, praising the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, for her role in facilitating the rescue.

Dr. Aderemi extended special appreciation to Dr. Abiola Adebayo and Miss Oyiza Yakubu for their dedication and compassion throughout the repatriation process.

He also lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Dabiri-Erewa, and NIDCOM for strengthening the institution and ensuring that Nigerians in distress abroad receive timely assistance.

“Today is not just about giving gifts; it’s about restoring dignity and giving people like Adeola the opportunity to rebuild their lives,” Aderemi said, urging Nigerian youths to embrace hard work and remain productive within the country, rather than falling prey to traffickers.

In an emotional response, Ms. Adeola George expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Dabiri-Erewa and Dr. Aderemi for their support and kind gestures, as she begins a new chapter of her life back home.
