Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been conferred with a prestigious chieftaincy title — Ugosimba I of Enugu State.
The title, which translates to “Jewel of Women Empowerment,” was bestowed upon her by traditional rulers in recognition of her relentless advocacy for women’s rights, education, and economic inclusion.

At the colourful ceremony held in Enugu, dignitaries, community leaders, and political figures gathered to celebrate the First Lady’s longstanding contributions to national development, especially in uplifting women and children across the country.
Senator Tinubu, who is also a former Lagos Central Senator, expressed gratitude for the honour, reaffirming her commitment to championing causes that empower women, promote family values, and strengthen the fabric of society.
