The Minister of Youth Development on Monday unveiled the official website for the National Youth Conference, describing it as a major step forward in the government’s drive to promote youth engagement and inclusion.
With the launch of https://nationalyouthconfab.gov.ng, the portal is expected to serve as the primary platform for accessing information, updates, and registration details for the event, which is scheduled to hold later in the year.
According to the Minister, the website was developed to ensure accessibility and encourage active participation among young people, both within Nigeria’s 360 federal constituencies and in the diaspora.
“The National Youth Conference will be executed through a multi-level participatory process which includes virtual engagements with the diaspora, constituency-level consultations, zonal consolidation meetings, and a culminating national conference in Abuja,” the Minister stated at the event.
He further stressed that the implementation of the programme would be rooted in the values of inclusivity, innovation, transparency, and mutual respect, urging the youth to take full advantage of the opportunity.
“I urge every young Nigerian to seize this opportunity to transition,” he said.
The Minister also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, applauding his commitment and support toward advancing youth development across the country.
