A political support group, Resound Democratic Group, has thrown its weight behind the candidacy of Victor Adekanye Olabimtan for the position of Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.
Addressing journalists in Akure, the group’s coordinator, Elder Akeredolu Adebisi, hailed Olabimtan as a “leader of leaders,” noting his extensive track record in public service and unwavering loyalty to the party’s principles.
“Olabimtan’s leadership style, grassroots connection, and steadfast dedication to the APC make him the ideal person to lead the party to new heights in the state,” Adebisi stated.
Other members of the group echoed similar sentiments, expressing optimism that Olabimtan’s emergence would promote internal cohesion and further consolidate the party’s structures ahead of upcoming polls.
Olabimtan, a former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, currently serves as Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
