
In continuation of national mourning activities approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will today hold a special session in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The expanded FEC meeting is slated for 5:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Earlier in the day, a Federal Government delegation led by Vice President Kashim Shettima will attend the third-day prayer for the late Nigerian leader in Daura, Katsina State. The delegation includes several cabinet ministers.
Today’s special session will also have in attendance members of the National Assembly, the Judiciary, and representatives of the Buhari family, as the nation continues to pay tribute to the former Commander-in-Chief.
