ISIJOLA LAUNCHES IMPACT FOODIE & LOUNGE IN AKURE, WINS ENDORSEMENTS FROM LEADERS, MONARCHS

Hospitality entrepreneur, Kikelomo Isijola, has launched Impact Foodie & Lounge in Akure, Ondo State, with political leaders and traditional rulers describing the new facility as a positive addition to the city’s growing lifestyle and leisure industry.

The opening ceremony, held on Monday around the Plaza axis near Agape Church, Oke-Ijebu, attracted government officials, royal fathers and other invited guests from within and outside the state capital.

Among those present were the Chairman of Akure South Local Government Area, Dr Gbenga Fasua; the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Prince Biyi Poroye; and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

Traditional rulers who attended the event included the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III), and the Olu of Aladodo Isinkan, Oba Ayodeji Fatoki.

Speaking at the event, Fasua said the facility offers a calm and hygienic environment suitable for dining and relaxation, adding that it would support job creation and stimulate economic activities within the local government.

Poroye, who presided over the ceremony, encouraged residents to patronise the establishment, noting that investments of such nature reflect the growing confidence of entrepreneurs in the state’s business climate. He also commended the state government for creating policies that attract private sector participation.

In his remarks, Oba Olofin-Adimula offered royal blessings for the success of the business, describing it as a modern facility that aligns with contemporary lifestyle needs while serving the local community.

Earlier, Isijola said the idea behind Impact Foodie & Lounge was driven by her passion for healthy living and quality nutrition. She explained that the brand was created to provide a space where good food, comfort and social interaction meet.

According to her, the menu combines indigenous meals such as native rice, pupuru and black soup with continental dishes and special weekend options. She added that the outfit also renders catering and delivery services to homes, offices and events within Akure.

The event featured live music performances, a guided tour of the facility and food tasting sessions, which many guests applauded. With endorsements from political office holders and traditional institutions, Impact Foodie & Lounge is expected to gain traction as a preferred spot for dining and leisure in Akure.
