SHETTIMA, ATIKU, SERVICE CHIEFS ATTEND JUMA’AT PRAYERS TO MARK 2026 ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday attended the Juma’at Service at the National Mosque in Abuja as part of activities marking the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

The prayer session was held in honour of Nigeria’s fallen military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the nation’s unity, sovereignty, and peace.

Also in attendance were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Deputy Chief of Staff Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, the Service Chiefs, and other senior government and security officials, reflecting a shared commitment to remembering and honouring the courage and sacrifices of the Armed Forces.
