
In a renewed show of unity and political consolidation within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the party on Friday, 27th March, re-elected its national leadership at its National Convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja, with strong participation from stakeholders across the 36 states.
In an interview with our correspondent shortly after the election, Hon. Akinpelumi Joseph Oyewole, an aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Odigbo Constituency II, congratulated the re-elected National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other party leaders on the successful outcome of the convention.
Oyewole commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to strengthening internal democracy within the APC. He also lauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State for his leadership and the conduct of delegates, noting that it reflected unity, discipline, and political maturity within the party.
He further congratulated Professor Yilwatda and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) on their re-election, expressing confidence in their capacity to provide effective leadership and consolidate the gains of the party.

Oyewole prayed for divine wisdom, guidance, and strength for the new leadership as they steer the party towards future electoral success.
