Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of Service of the state.
The appointment was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, following the retirement of the immediate past Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya.
Until his appointment, Saka was the Permanent Secretary in the Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services.
He joined the Ogun State Public Service as a classroom teacher on Grade Level 08 on May 15, 1993, and later moved into the mainstream civil service in 2006 as a Senior Administrative Officer on Grade Level 09.
Born on February 15, 1968, Saka is reputed for his experience in public administration, policy coordination and implementation.
He is a member of notable professional bodies, including the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development.
The state government said the appointment was in recognition of his commitment, diligence and years of meritorious service to the Ogun State Public Service.
