DON’T KILL YOURSELF TRYING TO PLEASE WOMEN, FUNKE ADEJUMO TELLS MARRIED MEN

Popular cleric and founder of Agape Christian Ministries, Pastor Funke Adejumo, has urged married men not to wear themselves out in a bid to satisfy every expectation of their wives, maintaining that no man can completely please a woman.

The preacher gave the advice during a sermon that gained traction on social media on Sunday, where she described women as naturally inclined towards change and improvement.

According to her, husbands should not place themselves under undue pressure in an attempt to attain perfection in marriage, but should instead continue to love and care for their spouses.

“To all married men, don’t ever kill yourself trying to please a woman. I’m a woman speaking to you, and there is nobody who can please a woman to the fullest,” she said.

Adejumo further explained that women’s grooming habits reflect their constant desire for change, despite acknowledging God’s creation.

“God gave us natural nails, we cut them and put on artificial ones. He gave us natural hair, we remove it and wear wigs. If God cannot please us completely, who are you to think you can?” she said.

She, however, encouraged husbands to remain loving and supportive of their wives while cautioning against exhausting themselves in pursuit of unrealistic expectations in marriage.
