The Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, has urged the newly appointed Tutor-Generals to demonstrate commitment, diligence and excellence in the discharge of their duties.

Ajibefun gave the charge during a courtesy visit by the new Tutor-Generals for the state’s three senatorial districts to his office in Akure.

The appointees are Dr. (Mrs.) Fadekemi Niran Jogbodo (Central), Mr. Iwaluwa Austin (South) and Mr. Fasawe Toluwalase (North).

Speaking on behalf of the team, Jogbodo said the visit was to formally introduce the new leadership, seek the Commissioner’s guidance and align their plans with the state government’s education agenda.

She pledged their commitment to improving academic standards, promoting teachers’ welfare and strengthening discipline in secondary schools across the state.

Responding, Ajibefun congratulated the appointees, describing their appointments as a recognition of their competence and dedication to service.

He urged them to work closely with the ministry, provide effective supervision in their districts and support the ongoing reforms in the education sector. He also advised them to maintain an open-door policy and foster cordial relationships with education stakeholders.
