
A lecturer at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Mrs. Busayo Ajayi-Owoyemi, has defended her PhD thesis, marking a significant academic achievement and a new chapter in her career.
Ajayi-Owoyemi is a lecturer in the Department of General Studies, Institute of Technology-Enhanced Learning and Digital Humanities, FUTA, where she contributes to teaching and academic development. She specialises in communication and new media, with interests in digital communication, teaching and research.
Announcing the development via the INTEDH WhatsApp group, the Head of Department, Dr. Mrs. Adebola Olukemi, congratulated Ajayi-Owoyemi on the new giant stride, describing it as a joyous attainment.
Olukemi wrote, “Roll out the drums. Let’s put on our dancing shoes as we celebrate with Mrs. Busayo Ajayi-Owoyemi, who defended her PhD today. Congratulations, our newest Dr!”
