
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved another round of appointments into his administration, in what appears to be a strategic move to strengthen governance ahead of key policy implementations.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor named nine Special Advisers, one Director-General, twenty Senior Special Assistants, a Special Assistant, and five members of the state’s Law Commission.
Among those appointed as Special Advisers are:
Olugbenga Omole (Transport), Gani Mohammed (Special Duties & Strategy), Allen Sowore (Communication & Strategy), Dr. Summy Smart Francis (Entrepreneurship & Innovation), Dr. Tunji Rhema (Environment), Kikelomo Ikuomola (Public Affairs & Intergovernmental Relations), Wale Aladenusi (Marine & Blue Economy), Kolawole Babatunde (Legislative & Party Affairs), and Igbekele Akinrinwa (Local Government Affairs).
The governor also appointed Engr. Razaq Obe as Director-General of the Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit (PPIMU).
The list of Senior Special Assistants spans various sectors including strategic communication, mobilisation, religion, pension matters, oil and gas, revenue, and community engagement across senatorial districts.
In addition, Sam Bolala was appointed as Special Assistant on Environmental Health.
For the Ondo State Law Commission, Aiyedatiwa approved Femi Okunjemiruwa as chairman, while Rotimi Omosua, Raymond Olaleye Ogunmoyero, Oladehingbe Sunday, and Tope Olajube were named members.
Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the appointees to bring competence and commitment to their new responsibilities, stressing that the administration is focused on efficient service delivery and accelerating development across the state.
